This app is your personal place for real anniversaries, special milestones and the moments that make your relationship unique. It is expressly not a calendar, not a diary and not a task manager – the app deliberately stays with the days that truly matter.
After the first launch you’ll be asked to enter your names – yours first, then your partner’s. Then open Settings (top right corner) to add your photos and, if you like, set up reminders. Finally, add your first anniversary.
No. There is no sign-up and no account. You open the app and get started – your names are all it needs.
Everything stays on your device. There are no servers in the background, no ads and no tracking. The developer doesn’t collect any data.
You start with up to 58 anniversaries: eight ready-made ones and 50 custom ones. And with every year of use, the app automatically unlocks three more custom anniversaries.
“Anniversaries” gives you a quick view of all the days coming up in the next days and weeks. Tap an entry to edit it. The timeline instead shows all your anniversaries in chronological order, with everything you’ve added – the map, recaps, audio and notes, where available. Yes. For every day you can add several photos, a spoken message, a note and a place.
No. Photos you choose are stored in the app at a lower resolution so the data doesn’t grow too large. So keep the originals in your Photos app.
A text you write today that only becomes readable on a later anniversary. Five guiding questions help you get started, or you can simply write freely. Up to five letters per day. Good to know: “sealed” means the app only shows the text on the day – it isn’t encrypted.
For every day you can create a note for the next occasion. If nothing comes to mind, the app suggests one of 50 ideas – filtered by mood, such as active, cozy or romantic. They are deliberately shared experiences, not gifts. Once the day is over, you can turn the plan into a recap with one tap. And because a plan is often a surprise, it stays out of backups by default.
Yes, with the photo collage. You combine up to nine photos into a finished image – in 4 × 6, 5 × 7 or 6 × 6 inches, the sizes drugstores and photo labs print. You get a real JPG file at 300 dpi that you upload in the lab’s own app. The collage itself isn’t saved.
Yes. In Settings you choose between “Linen” (light and warm), “Midnight” (dark and calm) and “Automatic”, which follows your iPhone’s setting. Your choice applies immediately to the whole app and to the widget.
Yes. You can give every wedding year a name of your own. The usual names appear as suggestions. A small arrow resets a single year, “Reset all” restores the originals, and a switch shows all 80 years if you like. Changes are saved when you tap “Save”.
Yes, through notifications – and you decide how early: up to 30 days ahead. Separately, from seven days before a day the home screen shows a button that lets you remind your partner too.
Anytime. You can save everything as a ZIP file and restore it when needed – for example when switching to a new iPhone or on your partner’s device. If iCloud Backup is turned on for your iPhone, your anniversaries are backed up with it automatically anyway.
Yes. In Settings you’ll find the option “Reset everything”. It’s best to make a backup first if your data matters to you.
Yes. You can export all your anniversaries to the iPhone calendar. A tip: create a calendar of its own in your Calendar app and choose it during the export. That way the events don’t end up in your general calendar but in a separate section.
We deliberately left out syncing, so each of you can add completely personal details. You can, however, easily restore a ZIP backup on the other device to get to the same shared state – if you both want that.
The app is made for iPhone and available in English and German – it follows your iPhone’s language. On iPad it only runs in the enlarged iPhone mode; there is no dedicated iPad version (yet).
The app is a one-time purchase of $0.99 (or the local equivalent) on the App Store. No subscription, no further costs, no in-app purchases.
